At St. James we believe that growth happens best when we are together. There are many ways for people of all ages to connect and to do life together. Strengthen and grow in your faith by connecting to one of ministry groups.
We believe that we were built to do life together. This is why we call our small groups "Community Groups." Being part of a life group allows you to connect in a smaller community as you dig deeper and grow together. These intentionally intergenerational life groups meet once a month to share a meal together and to grow in faith.
Most Sunday School classes start at 9:15 on Sunday mornings. You are welcome to check out any class you'd like, or drop us a line and we will be happy to recommend one.
At St. James UMC, we seek to provide a caring Christian atmosphere for the youngest visitors and members of our community, so that they might learn to love and follow Jesus. Our children's ministry seeks to create an encouraging environment for children to learn about God's love and how that love translates into every day action in their lives. We seek to build a foundation of faith through games, arts and crafts, and Bible study on Sunday morning.
Nursery Care
A nursery is available in Rooms #107/109 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am every Sunday morning for infants and toddlers. Our nursery is staffed by experienced and caring individuals. No reservations are required for Sunday mornings.
Kids Club
We meet Sunday afternoons during the school year from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. This is a time for your children (3K-5th grade) to explore their faith in an engaging lesson. The group meets in the Fellowship Hall.
